You already know what time it is:
Time to rejoice! The date? June 19, 1865 to be exact! And the place? Galveston, Texas where the last group slaves found themselves finally freed once the news reached them, at last, that slavery was officially over. Thus, marking a day that is now a federal holiday, though long overdue as it has always been something to celebrate!

African American people and our history. My people, my history. I am in support of those who aren't African American to know the history. Our history is their history, too. As a company, we are in support of that history coming to light after a series of dark decades. Through that darkness, we created something shiny and new, like diamonds under pressure. We created an era of culture shown through food, music, clothing, writings and above all else, our people! To be Black is bold and beautiful, it is not something to be hidden or unspoken. With the date of Juneteenth comes the pride and triumph of our ancestors and all they endured, that we will carry for centuries to come.
